Covert Online Training in South East Asia – TONIGHT!

Here’s a picture of the EtherEquipper, my international online-training setup. 

Our most potent training happens when we are in-person, in-country with the leaders, sharing meals, hugs, and adventures. The problem is that some countries and regions are not open to us as American Christians. In these locked-down and often Gospel-hostile places, it’s Zoom to the rescue! 

I am currently training 25 young Bible school students in a South East Asian country that does not allow us physical entry. It’s going GREAT, and these students are now receiving five weeks / 30 hours of classes through The Book of Acts. I am teaching Acts as a pattern for world missions, church planting, discipleship, outreach, and we will study the history of the early church and it’s expansion.

I also use Zoom and What’s App to coach, counsel, mentor, and disciple international pastors between training trips; this allows for ongoing connection, troubleshooting, encouragement, and fellowship with leaders that I know and love.

Even though in-country, in-person trips (with the jet lag and stomach issues) are superior by far, I thank God that we have technology to further his Kingdom around the Globe from my office.
