There are plenty of great organizations out there. I have done some research to be a help to those who aren’t sure where to give. These charities are all vetted and have a 4 star rating (the highest rating by Charity Navigator) https://www.charitynavigator.org/. Charity Navigator rates and provides detailed information on Charity Orgs. Each of these organizations also have low operations costs, this means most of your gift goes to directly to food as opposed to, staff salaries , administration, and promotion.
