Uganda & Kenya In the ether this week!

Uganda’s Coat of Arms

Monday Night / Tuesday Morning, in the late-early hours, I had the pleasure of teaching 84 awesome Ugandan pastors & leaders (via Zoom),including a group from the Nakivale Refugee Camp. We also had a group of 22 join us from Kenya for a total of 106 students. Thank you interweb, you ARE good for more than viewing silly cat memes.

I taught a three-hour course on Bibliology, (the theological doctrine of the Bible itself). We studied topics such as Divine inspiration of Scripture, the Canon, how the Bible was formed, and studied questions such as; have the scriptures been transmitted to us accurately, are they free from error and myth, how is the Bible different from other world religious texts and a ton more.

We had groups of people meeting outside (cue chicken sounds), in churches, homes, and sheds. It’s a true privilege to pour vital foundational concepts into African leaders so that they have the skills & knowledge to lead God’s beautiful church in East Africa.

I’m feeling a strong magnetic draw from LAX, can’t wait to fly out to Cambodia (in about a month). #blessed #sleepy #Uganda #Kenya #refugeepastors #bible
